<p>The invention relates to an arrangement in a pulp processing process for joining two pulp transporting tubes (3, 4), the arrangement including a feeding tube (4) for feeding pulp, which is to be joined to an opposed inlet tube (3) for transferring the pulp to a processing arrangement, the ends of the tubes including a first circumferential flange (5) and a second circumferential flange (6) each including an inner radial surface for mutual connection, wherein the connection between the inner radial surfaces of the circumferential flanges (5, 6) involves a sealing (9) for ensuring a fluid tight connection between the circumferential flanges (5, 6). The first circumferential flange (5) involves a longitudinal portion (12), which is arranged in a slidable and fluid tight manner with respect to the respective tube (3, 4), such that it may be slided along a longitudinal axis (A1,A2) of the respective tube between the fluid tight connection of the inner radial surfaces of the circumferential flanges (5, 6) to a second position in which the inner radial surfaces are parted from each other, without moving either of the two tubes (3, 4).</p> |
