PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle gateway apparatus capable of transferring data between networks following priority more faithfully, while suppressing the number of transmission message boxes. SOLUTION: The number of a plurality of transmission message boxes to be configured is smaller than the number of identifiers attached to data. When data having the same identifier as new data is stored in any of the plurality of transmission message boxes at the reception of the new data to be transferred, transmission to the other networks of data having the same identifier is stopped, and the data having the same identifier is overwritten with the new data for storage. When the data having the same identifier as the new data is stored in none of the transmission message boxes, data having priority lower than that of the new data and an identifier having the lowest priority is overwritten with the new data for storage out of data stored in the plurality of transmission message boxes.
