摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method for recording a high-quality image at high speed by suppressing variation in ink dot diameters between a plurality of inks due to nonuniform coagulation or the like in recording a multicolor image. <P>SOLUTION: The ink-jet recording method has an image recording process 14 for recording an image by ejecting two or more kinds of ink compositions each containing at least a pigment, by an ink-jet method, and a processing liquid applying process 12 for applying a processing liquid containing an acidic substance for coagulating and/or insolubilizing components in the ink compositions, to a region, to which the ink compositions are applied, of a recording medium whose 60&deg; glossiness is 30 or more prior to the ejection of the ink compositions.
