<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal oxide microparticle-containing silicone resin composition which is excellent in transparency, optical transmission and heat resistance, and besides which has a high refractive index, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This metal oxide microparticle-containing silicone resin composition is obtained by the polymerization reaction of a thermosetting silicone derivative expressed by formula (I) (wherein Xs are each independently an alkoxy group or an alkyl group; m is an integer of one or larger; n is an integer of zero, or one or larger, but at least one of 3m of Xs is an alkoxy group) and the metal oxide microparticles having a reactive functional group on the surface of the microparticles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
