摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drive in which a design position of a node line is hard to change carelessly. <P>SOLUTION: A diaphragm 10 has a piezoelectric element 20 where conduction layers 14 and 16 are arranged on a piezoelectric plate 12 in the rotary drive. A body to be driven is rotated around a central axis which passes through a superficial centroid position and is orthogonal to the diaphragm while friction force is operated on the confronted body to be driven 50 by driving projections 40 arranged on a plate face of the diaphragm with plate bending vibration generating node lines N1 and N2, which radially extend from the planar centroid position O of the diaphragm by bending of the diaphragm in a direction orthogonal to the plate face of the diaphragm.
