PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sensitivity to fouling on a reaction tube, in an automatic analyzer for determining whether the reaction tube is fouled or not. SOLUTION: An irradiation part 52 irradiates a photometric beam toward the reaction tube storing a test solution having an approximately minimum liquid quantity necessary for photometry. A detection part 54 detects the photometric beam irradiated from the irradiation part 52 and transmitted through the test solution. A reaction tube fouling determination part 7 determines whether the reaction tube is fouled or not, based on intensity of the detected photometric beam. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
