PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy absorption property, and to reduce the weight and size. SOLUTION: An impact beam 19 is arranged in an inside of a front side door 12, and the impact beam 19 includes an impact beam body 20 made of an aluminum alloy and a reinforcement cover 24 made of a steel plate. The reinforcement cover 24 covers a vehicle width inner wall part 20D of a vehicle body longitudinal direction center part of the impact beam body 20 from a vehicle width inner side direction, and when a longitudinal intermediate part of the impact beam body 20 is broken to the vehicle width inner side (cabin inner side) in the side collision of the vehicle body, the reinforcement cover 24 covers the broken part of the impact beam body 20 from the vehicle width inner side, and the reinforcement cover 24 maintains the broken part in the connection state.
