PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron capable of facilitating a perming treatment to hair while shortening a perming treatment time when perming and reducing the hair damage after the perming treatment, and efficiently and flexibly performing different physical processing of heating, application of a magnetic field and vibration. SOLUTION: This hair iron 1 includes: a pair of arm sections 2a and 2b for clamping the hair; heater sections (20a, 20b, 4a and 4b) provided on the pair of arm sections for heating the hair; magnet sections (16 and 7) provided on the pair of arm sections for applying the magnetic field to the hair; and vibration motors 9 provided in the interiors of the pair of arm sections for vibrating the magnet sections. The heater sections and the magnets 16 are thermally isolated by insulating members (7 and 21) and are disposed in parallel on the surfaces of the pair of arm sections for clamping the hair.
