PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier device which stabilizes much further behavior of a barrier member during sliding. SOLUTION: The barrier device includes: a base section attached to an object being an object to be attached; a barrier member slidably engaged with the base section through a cam groove having a track nearly parallel with a longitudinal direction; a leaf spring attached to the barrier member to lie between the barrier member and the base section and energizing the barrier member toward the base section; two bar-like members respectively attached to the base section, located on a surface side opposed to the barrier member out of the surfaces of the leaf spring, and rotating around an axial line while coming into line-contact with the leaf spring when the barrier member and the leaf spring slide with respect to the object; a spherical member located in the middle of the positions where the two bar-like members come into line-contact with the leaf spring in the longitudinal direction of the leaf spring, holding the leaf spring together with the two bar-like members and rotating while coming into point-contact with the leaf spring when the barrier member and the leaf spring are made to slide with respect to the base section; and a coil spring held by the base section and energizing the spherical member toward the leaf spring.
