PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type continuously variable transmission capable of suppressing the generation of noise caused by belt noise by a simple constitution and preventing an increase in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The facing surface of a parking gear 95 facing the back face of a fixed sheave 25a has an abutting part 95a abutting on the back face of the fixed sheave 25a through an elastic member 96 to attenuate the vibration of the fixed sheave 25a.
