PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulb socket for preventing deterioration of holding force of a resin lance due to heat generation of a wedge base bulb. SOLUTION: The bulb socket 10 includes a resin lance 11 holding the wedge base bulb 20 by locking with a base 21 of the wedge base bulb 20. The resin lance 11 is composed of an elastic locking piece 11A elastically deformed at insertion and pulling of the wedge base bulb 20 and locking elastically with the base 21 to hold the wedge base bulb 20 and a back-up elastic piece 11B which includes a gap on the opposite side to the wedge base bulb 20 of the elastic locking piece 11A and contacts with the elastic locking piece 11A and holds it elastically when deformed toward the opposite side to the wedge base bulb 20 of the elastic locking piece 11A.
