The present invention relates to a catalytic reforming module (10) for converting hydrocarbons into a material including hydrogen, the module including: an inlet (11) for receiving a stream of hydrocarbons, an outlet (12) for discharging a stream of material, a heating area (13) adjacent to the inlet (11) and in which a heating honeycomb (16) is arranged, a cooling area (15) adjacent to the output (12) and in which a cooling honeycomb (18) is arranged, a reforming area (14) between the heating area (13) and the cooling area (15) in which a reforming honeycomb (17) comprising a catalyst is arranged. The present invention also relates to a catalytic reforming device for converting hydrocarbons into a material including hydrogen, the device including: a housing, at least one catalytic reforming module arranged in the housing, the housing including, for every catalytic reforming module, a hydrocarbon stream inlet channel and an outlet channel connected to the inlet and the outlet, respectively, a cooling system for placing a coolant in contact with an outer surface of the heating area of each catalytic reforming module, and a secondary cooling system for placing a secondary coolant in contact with an outer surface of the cooling area of each catalytic reforming module. |
