The present invention relates to a process for the hydrotreating of mineral oil and renewable organic material. The renewable organic material is split into at least two streams. One stream of renewable organic material is combined with the mineral oil after the fired heater and the combined stream is contacted with a first catalyst bed in a hydrotreating reactor. A second stream of renewable organic material is added to the second catalyst bed in the reactor.
