<p>Disclosed are a method for processing group messages, a service delivery platform (SDP) and associated equipment used for improving the efficiency of group message transmission. The method of one embodiment in the present invention includes: a service access gateway receives a group message intended to destination terminals, said group message including information about the destination terminals; the service access gateway splits said group message into at least two sub-group messages according to the access codes corresponding to said destination terminal information, destination terminal information in each sub-group message having the same access code, and sends said sub-group messages to a network access gateway to facilitate the network access gateway to split said sub-group messages into sub-messages according to the destination terminal information included in said sub-group messages, each sub-message corresponding to unique destination terminal information; said sub-messages are sent to corresponding destination terminals. The embodiments in the present invention also provide an SDP and associated equipment. The embodiments in the present invention can effectively improve the efficiency of group message transmission.</p> |
