A linear array is arranged at regular intervals in a vertical direction and at predetermined intervals in a horizontal direction, four right-side columns in the linear array configuring transmission CHs and the other twelve columns configuring a group of reception CHs. In the linear array configuring the group of the reception CHs, the linear array of four columns in the center configures reception CHs (5 to 8) while each column is set to be a CH unit, and the linear array of eight columns on both sides (four columns on each side) configures reception CHs (1 to 4) while each two columns are set to be a CH unit. The reception CHs (5 to 8) configure a reception first array, and the reception CHs (1 to 8) configure the reception second array. In a wide angle and middle distance detection process, signals are synthesized using the reception first array, and in a long distance detection process, signals are synthesized using the reception second array. In a radiation pattern by a transmission array, the second null of the transmission array and the first null of the reception second array are matched and the first null of the transmission array is filled so that a gain difference between the first null of the transmission array and the first sidelobe of the transmission array is within a predetermined value.
