A mobile X-ray device (1) comprises: a main body (2) having an X-ray generation unit (10) and an image read device (50) for reading X-ray image information from an imaging plate on which the X-ray image information is stored; a traveling unit (60) for moving the main body (2); a battery (70) for storing DC current supplied to the traveling unit (60) and discharging DC current for the rated voltage of the traveling unit (60); and a DC power supply voltage conversion unit (80) for transforming the DC voltage of the battery (70) to the rated voltage of the image read device (50). The image read device (50) is biased at the rated voltage thereof, which has been transformed by the DC power supply voltage conversion unit (80).
