PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of diaryl carbonate is provided to obtain an outcome with the high purity, by re-circulating a process wastewater solution generated from manufacturing the diaryl carbonate. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of diaryl carbonate comprises the following steps: forming phosgene by reacting chlorine with carbon monoxide; forming a reactive wastewater solution containing the diaryl carbonate and alkali metal chloride, by reacting the phosgene with aqueous alkali metal-containing salt and monophenol; separating the diaryl carbonate, and post-processing; increasing the concentration of the reactive wastewater solution containing the remained alkali metal chloride; and electrochemically oxidizing the reactive wastewater solution to form the chlorine, alkali metal hydroxide, and hydrogen. |
