PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus of inspecting a solar cell by use of alternative current electroluminescence imaging are provided to prevent the heating and damage to a sample by extracting the internal fault of the solar cell. CONSTITUTION: A method and apparatus of inspecting a solar cell by use of alternative current electroluminescence imaging include a power supply unit(2) and an image detection unit(3). A power supply unit is electrically connected to a solar cell or the both ends of the electrode and supplies AC power of a certain period and a waveform. The image detection unit detects the electroluminescent image which is generated from the solar cell or module through a camera and detects the internal defects in the solar cell.
