PURPOSE: A structure for connecting a steering wheel and a driver airbag is provided to design free-form of an airbag according to a driver's body, since an airbag module is not rotated despite the rotation of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A structure for connecting a steering wheel and a driver airbag comprises a steering column housing, a steering column shaft, a gear housing(10), a column gear(20), a wheel gear(30), and a spur gear(40). The steering column shaft is placed in the steering column housing to be rotated. One side of the gear housing is fixed to the steering column housing. An air bag module is fixed to the other side of the gear housing. The column gear and the wheel gear are inserted into one side and the other side of the gear housing, respectively. The column gear connects to the steering column shaft. The wheel gear connects to the steering wheel and rotates with the steering wheel. |
