FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of dimethylsulphide through conversion of dimethyldisulphide in the presence of a catalyst - aluminium oxide, at atmospheric pressure and temperature of 250-400C with addition of methanol to the reaction mixture in amount of 0.17-0.82 g per 1 g of the initial dimethyldisulphide. ^ EFFECT: increased selectivity of formation of dimethylsulphide which is used as an odorant and starting material in synthesis of dimethylsulphoxide which is used as a medicinal agent, solvent and extraction agent. ^ 3 cl, 1 tbl, 21 ex |
