PURPOSE: An improved fan cylinder is provided to save the operating cost of a cooling tower and to raise the efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A fan cylinder naturally induces an amount of air by the effect occurred in a venturi tube using the kinetic energy of the discharged air passing through the fan cylinder. An air guide is installed on the lower part of the fan cylinder. The lower part of the fan cylinder is divided into a first region through which the air is discharged by the natural inducing, and a second region through the air is discharged by a fan(2), by the air guide. The uniform external air passes throughput the front of a filler of a cooling tower. The fan cylinder generates the venturi tube effect and an amount of external air is further added to the cooling tower by the effect. |
