PURPOSE: A vertical position controller of an arbor and a vertical cutting unit for a left/right wound coil spring machine is provided to reduce the time and manpower for setting the arbor and the vertical cutting unit. CONSTITUTION: A vertical position controller of an arbor and a vertical cutting unit for a left/right wound coil spring machine comprises two coiling units, an arbor(40), upper and lower cutting units(50,60), a plate(10) with a guide piece, a cutting base(30), a screw, a nut(14), and a motor(16). The arbor and the vertical cutting unit are guided to the guide piece of the plate and connected to the cutting base which is vertically slid. The cutting base is coupled with the nut, and the cut is installed on the top of the plate via the screw and connected to the motor.
