PURPOSE: A geothermal cooling and heating system using rainwater is provided to enable the rainwater to be used as a heat medium and the cooling and the heating of a house to be performed using the geothermal heat and the solar heat. CONSTITUTION: A geothermal cooling and heating system using rainwater comprise a trench(110), a water permeable layer(120), a rainwater storage tank(140), an auxiliary rainwater storage tank(150), a solar-heat collecting/rainwater heating unit(160), a hot water tank(170), a hot water circulating pipe(180), and a rainwater transfer pipe(190). The trench is formed in a waterproof structure and holds the rainwater and the excessive rainwater overflows. The water permeable layer absorbs the rainwater from a wide ground area comprising the trench and stores it under the ground. The water permeable layer is formed in the form of V and is filled with a grain filtering material. The auxiliary water storage tank receives and stores the rainwater exceeding the storage capacity of the rainwater storage tank. The hot water tank stores the water, which flows into the solar-heat collecting/rainwater heating unit and a floor heating pipe, which is installed in the floor of the inside of a house. The hot water circulating pipe circulates the hot rainwater from the hot water tank to the solar-heat collecting/rainwater heating unit and the floor heating pipe.
