METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING POSTOPERATIVE COGNITIVE DYSFUNCTIONS

A method for diagnosing the postoperative cognitive dysfunctions provides for clinico-laboratorial examinations and neurophysiological testing. Pieron-Rouser test and correction test by V. Amatuni are used for assessing the concentration and fatigue index. The operative memory is tested by number summations. The emotional component is assessed by personal and situational anxiety. The deviation from mean statistical values by more than 10 % suggests the postoperative cognitive dysfunctions.
