Composition comprises caffeine and a vegetable extract comprising one or more phenolic acids, where the weight ratio of the caffeine to the phenolic acids is 3-10. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing the composition, comprising mixing the caffeine with the vegetable extract containing one or more phenolic acid, in a weight ratio of 3-10, and recovering the formed mixture; (2) a method to solubilize caffeine comprising contacting caffeine with the vegetable extract containing one or more phenolic acids, in a weight ratio of caffeine/vegetable extract of 3-10; and (3) a cosmetic product comprising the composition.
