The connector (12) has an end (30) cooperating with a snap-on connection (32) of a pipe for establishing a fluidic connection. A heat shield (44) thermally isolates the snap-on connection from thermal radiation when the snap-on connection is snapped on the connector. The heat shield is integrated to the end of the connector to form a single block of material. The heat shield is formed of a material having a thermal resistance higher than 180 degrees Celsius. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a connector.
