PURPOSE: A method for setting a period in a BAN(Body Area Network) is provided to set appropriated transmission period according to data type or application type. CONSTITUTION: A DEV(Device) transmits BBS(Basic Service Set) type information to CP(Central Point)(S510). The CP transmits BAN configuration information to relevant DEV(S520). A DEVs(Devices) wakeup in an active period according to the duty cycle of BAN BSS. According to the parameter set about competitive cycle and non-competitive cycle among the active period(S540). |
