PURPOSE: A knife gate valve for an opening/closing device of a garbage automatic-transfer system is provided to enable the garbage to be easily cut though the minimizing of a space of a connecting groove. CONSTITUTION: A knife gate valve for an opening/closing device of a garbage automatic-transfer system comprises a valve body(14), a knife(17) and a sealing valve seat(19). A knife path(11) is formed in the valve body. The valve body is communicated with a garbage transfer pipe(12). On the lower of the valve body, a penetration hole(13) is formed. The knife opens and closes the penetration hole. On one side of the knife, a cut section(16) is formed. The sealing valve seat supports the cut section of the knife. The sealing valve seat seals the penetration hole.
