<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen type input device with which information is input without regripping the input device even when the input device is gripped in any direction. <P>SOLUTION: The pen type input device includes: a contact detection means arranged over the entire circumference of a grip portion of the pen type input device; a contact position deducing means for deducing a finger contact position detected by the contact detection means; an information input area setting means for setting an information input area on the contact detection means on the basis of the finger contact position deduced by the contact position deducing means; a finger movement detection means for detecting finger movement on the information input area set by the information input area setting means; and an output means for outputting prescribed information to an information terminal apparatus on the basis of the finger movement detected by the finger movement detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
