<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract a desired still image out of video images which are output before a recording instruction of the still image is carried out and which cannot repeatedly reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: A still image extraction unit 201 extracts still images at predetermined intervals from the input video images based on a time measuring signal outputted at the predetermined time intervals from a time measuring unit 203, and updates and memorizes them in a RAM 70 with a predetermined number as an upper limit. Moreover, a still image extraction unit 201 extracts a still image according to operation key pressing for requesting still image extraction, stores it in the RAM 70, afterward, extracts the still image based on a time measuring signal outputted at the predetermined time intervals from the time measuring unit 203, and stores them in the RAM 70 with the predetermined number as the upper limit. Furthermore, the still image extraction unit 201 requests creation of a screen which displays a plurality of still images extracted before and after the operation key pressing for requesting still image extraction to an OSD unit 202, and stores the still images selected by the screen in a flash memory 71. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
