<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display that reduces influence on an image pickup device, which is caused by light of a backlight. <P>SOLUTION: The display includes: an interspace between a pair of transparent substrates 10(10a, 10b) injected with a liquid crystal material 16; an image pickup part having an image pickup device 32 and a lens 30 which are opposed in contact with a rear face 12 of any one of the transparent substrates 10 on a display side of the liquid crystal material 16 and a front face 14 of the same; and a sheet-formed light-guide member 40 introducing light from a point light source 20 and radiating light from a light emission surface to the liquid crystal material 16. The image pickup device 32 is disposed so that its imaging direction is a direction for it to contact the first transparent substrate 10a. The lens 30 is disposed corresponding to the imaging direction of the image pickup device 32. The image pickup device 32 is disposed out of a light radiation area of the point light source 20 and the sheet-formed light-guide member 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
