<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a facility the service form of which has changed by probe information. <P>SOLUTION: In a system made up of a server and a plurality of terminals, position information on the terminal is transmitted to the server, the server statistically processes the staying time in the position information on the terminal in a facility on an electronic map and determines a facility which has changed, when comparison is made with the past data statistically as the facility the service form of which has changed. The terminal reduces a communication load by accumulating only the part of its position information that is necessary for the determination for a certain period of time and transmitting it. The accumulation information used for the statistical processing by the server includes the staying time of the terminal in the facility, the average age of users and the male-to-female ratio. Since the terminal side transmits only the information necessary for the determination to the server, a data communication volume can be reduced.
