PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of improving display quality, even when the ambient temperature of a display part is partially changed due to the temperature rise of a heat generating circuit. SOLUTION: The display device includes: the display part 2 in which a display color in each pixel is controlled according to the waveform of a drive signal applied in each pixel; and a control part 6 selecting the waveform of the drive signal applied to each pixel of the display part from drive waveform groups, according to image information respectively and outputting the drive signal of the selected waveform to each pixel of the display part. The control part 6 includes a selecting means selecting the waveform of the drive signal applied to the pixel of the specific display range where the temperature rises according to the heat generation of a circuit in the display device or a battery 7, of the display area of the display part, from the first drive waveform group and selecting the waveform of the drive signal applied to the pixel except the specific display range from the second drive waveform group different from the first drive waveform group, and a range changing means expanding and contracting the specific display range, according to the level of the heat generation of the heat generating circuit or the battery 7.
