α1/CAV3.1 DOUBLE KNOCKOUT MICE EXHIBITING ESSENTIAL TREMOR AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An α1/CaV3.1 double knock-out mouse which GABAA receptor α1 subunit and T-type Ca 2+ channel are knocked out and a method for preparing the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing double knock-out mouse in which essential tremor is caused comprises: a step of mating GABAA receptor α1 subunit-knocked out mouse(α1-/-) and T-type Ca 2+ channel-knocked out mouse(CaV3.1-/-); a step of selecting a mouse(α1+/-/CaV3.1 +/-) having heterozygote of two genes of GABAA receptor α1 subunit and T-type Ca 2+ channel; a step of mating selected adult α1 +/- /CaV3.1 +/- mice; and a step of selecting double knock-out mouse(α1 -/- /CaV3.1 -/-) in which the gene are deleted.
