PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a crankshaft by making the positional relation between a bearing support part of a bearing and a balancer drive gear appropriate, in an equipment arrangement structure in a crankcase including: the crankshaft supported by a vertical wall forming a crank chamber of the crankcase via the bearing; an auxiliary drive gear supported by the crankshaft, adjacent to the bearing at the outside of the crank chamber of the crankcase, for driving the balancer and a water pump; and an oil pump housing in which an oil pump rotor is stored in an oil pump rotor chamber. SOLUTION: The oil pump housing is supported by the vertical wall of the crankcase at a lower part of the auxiliary drive gear, and the auxiliary drive gear and the oil pump rotor chamber are disposed in an overlapped state seen in the axial direction of the crankshaft.
