PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector which brushes off dust adhered to a filter and allows improvement of the filtration efficiency without a substantial increase of the filtering rate or a notable rise of construction and energy costs of the apparatus. SOLUTION: In the dust collector 1, dust adhered to the filter F is brushed off by supplying a pressure gas to a filter F filtering a dust-containing gas.
