摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BaO-Nd<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-TiO<SB>2</SB>-based dielectric ceramic and a resonator attaining high quality factor Q value and a stable temperature characteristic (&tau;f) nearly zero while keeping relative dielectric constant of &ge;60. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic contains Ba, Nd and Ti and when the composition is expressed by &alpha;BaO_&beta;Nd<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>_&gamma;TiO<SB>2</SB>, the molar ratio of each of &alpha;, &beta;, and &gamma; satisfies 13.0&le;&alpha;&le;18.5, 10.5&le;&beta;&le;18.0 and 66.0&le;&gamma;&le;73.5, and the dielectric ceramic contains &ge;1.1 mass% and &le;5 mass% aluminum expressed in term of oxide, &le;0.5 mass% (excluding 0 mass%) manganese expressed in terms of oxide.
