<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surplus vehicle management method and a surplus vehicle management system which know a reasonable take-over price and select a disposal method with the minimum man-hour. <P>SOLUTION: About a plurality of vehicles under a vehicle management company, data including vehicle specifications and careers are registered in a vehicle management database, and a surplus vehicle candidate which turns into a candidate of the surplus vehicle is selected out of the plurality of vehicles, and an estimate request is issued. The estimated amount of the estimate made with reference to the vehicle management database is shown.
