<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staircase lifting device easily installed in a staircase and easily used in the staircase, which is inexpensive, and easily ascends and descends a person or a baggage even in the staircase whose passage is curved such as a spiral staircase. <P>SOLUTION: The staircase lifting device includes movable parts 2 and 3 which are comprised of mounting parts 6 for mounting the person or the baggage, and ascending/descending on tread surfaces of the staircase; arms 18R and 18L which are connected to the mounting parts 6, and movable vertically with respect to a tread 17s surface of the staircase 17; push plates 10L and 10R which are connected to tips of these arms 18L and 18R, and moved in parallel and rotatively moved within a two-dimensional plane in a horizontal direction with respect to the tread 17s surface; and linear motion devices 16a and 16b with screws 12a and 12b vertically ascending and descending the mounting part 6 with respect to the tread 17s surface while pressing the push plates 10L and 10R against the treat 17s surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
