<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the discrimination of a color/monochrome printing adapted to actual condition when performing a form composition printing. <P>SOLUTION: A printer for performing a color printing using two or more image forming material includes a form storage means for storing form data, a form processing means for controlling the form composition printing for performing the printing with placing the image based on printing data on the image based on the form data, and a color/monochrome discrimination means for determining the color used for the form composition printing according to the color used for the image based on the printing data and the color used for the image based on the form data among the image forming material of two or more colors when performing the form composition printing, and for discriminating that the form composition printing is the monochrome printing if the color used is monochrome, and for discriminating that the form composition printing is the color printing if two or more colors are used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
