PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for recording a message even in a low end computer system. SOLUTION: A message recording device 1 includes a plurality of serial input/output terminals 1d to which ID has been applied, and configured to receive a message output from a plurality of connected computer systems 2, and to record the received ID of a message recording device side serial input/output terminal 1d and the information of the date and time in a woven manner in a recording means 1e in the message recording device 1. When receiving a message to read a message recorded in the recording means 1e from any of the message recording device 1 side serial input/output terminal, the message recording device 1 reads out the recorded message together with the ID.
