PURPOSE: A method and a system of transmitting and receiving mail data are provided to prevent the time and economical waste for confirming an E-mail address by transmitting mail data to a receiver through a phone number of a communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A system receives mail data and a phone number of a receiver communication terminal, and a phone number of an originator communication terminal(200). If an originator is authenticated, the system stores those phone numbers and the mail data(230,240). The system transmits an arrival message and a receiver authentication message to the receiver communication terminal(250). The system transmits the mail data to the receiver communication terminal and the host of the receiver(280).
