<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in detection of insulating resistance in the presence of first and second ungrounded power sources. <P>SOLUTION: A ground fault detecting system includes: a first insulating resistance resistor 51 which detects a first insulating resistance RL1 to a grounding section of a first ungrounded power source 14, and a second insulating resistance detector 52 which detects a second insulating resistance RL2 to a grounding section of a second ungrounded power source 12, separately.
