<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of a conventional optical deflector having a cover that distortion of a transparent plate fixed to an opening for entering/outgoing of light beams due to a temperature change inside and outside the cover may cause bending of the light beams. <P>SOLUTION: An optical deflector includes: a polygon mirror which deflects the light beams; the cover which covers at least the polygon mirror and on which an opening for passing the light beams is formed; and a transparent plate which seals the opening. The transparent plate is bonded and fixed to the cover by an adhesive having elasticity after solidification, and thereby, the periphery of the transparent plate is made free and distortion generated at the transparent plate due to a temperature change is eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
