PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation device which reduces the weight of a wire harness while standardizing the wire harness, and which resists the effect of noises. SOLUTION: A signal relay 4 to be positioned between a model computing unit 2 simulating the subject of control and a controller 7 is separated into a first signal relay 4a to be connected to the model computing unit 2 and a second signal relay 4b to be connected to the controller 7 by a general-purpose input/output signal line. The first and second signal relays are connected to each other by a plurality of serial communication units having different transmission speeds. Each of the signal relays includes an input path switch 41 which switches a signal path from a signal input port to the serial communication unit so that a signal value is transmitted from the serial communication unit according to the transmission speed, and an output path switch 42 which switches a signal path from the serial communication unit to a signal output port so that the signal value received via the serial communication unit is output via a corresponding signal output port.
