PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of preventing a printed layer formed in a cover of the display device from being scratched. SOLUTION: The display device includes a display panel 10, a light transmissive cover 34 covering a display surface of the display panel 10, a frame-like printed layer 36 formed on a face facing the display panel 10 of the cover 34 to surround a central part by avoiding the central part, and a coated layer 38 covering at least a face on the opposite side with respect to the cover 34 of the printed layer 36 and harder than the printed layer 36.
