PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material for flooring which, even when a material, as an alternative to lauan, having a dimensional change, per 1% water content change, of more than 0.02% is used as a wooden base material while a decorative sheet having low moisture permeability is stacked on the front surface, can prevent curving and warping. SOLUTION: The decorative material for flooring comprises a wooden base material, and a decorative sheet is stacked on the front surface of the wooden base material while a moisture-proof film is stacked on the back surface of the wooden base material. The decorative material for flooring is characterized in that (1) the level of a dimensional change per 1% water content change is more than 0.02% and (2) the moisture-proof film has a moisture permeability of not more than 7 g/m<SP>2</SP>×24 hr.
