PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope hooking structure for a crane optimum for shift control. SOLUTION: A pair of two ropes 78, 74 and 73, 77 drawn out from a drum 16 are laid on a rope winding virtual surface supposed on an end part in a lateral direction of a hanging unit 8 such that the respective ropes form a triangle between the hanging unit 8 and the trolley 6 and hypotenuses x4, x8 and x3, x7 are opposed to each other. Further, a pair of rope operation plates is turnably pivotally supported on the trolley 6, and a pair of two ropes 78, 74 and 73, 77 arranged on the rope winding virtual surface supposed on the end part in the lateral direction of the hanging unit 8 are attached to front end parts of the respective rope operation plates 124, 125.
