<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method which enables high printing density, and achieves recording superior in moisture resistance, light stability, and ozone resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording method includes: a step for applying onto the support body undercoat layer forming liquid containing binder resin and bivalent water soluble metallic salt; a step for applying a coating film forming liquid containing at least inorganic fine particles and acetoacetyl modified polyvinyl alcohol; a step for providing curing solvent containing water soluble multifunctional compound having two or more amino groups in molecule thereof to the coating film at the same time as the coating film is formed or before the coating film shows a decreasing-rate drying to form an ink jet recording medium, and a step for recording an image on the ink jet recording medium produced in the steps by an ink jet method using ink containing a dye specified by A<SB>1</SB>-N=N-A<SB>2</SB>-N=N-A<SB>3</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
