摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a solid oxide fuel cell capable of preventing oxidation of a fuel electrode layer without separately supplying nitrogen gas or hydrogen gas to a power generation cell. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel battery includes: a fuel battery cell stack 10 formed by stacking a power generation cell 16 through a separator 2; a reformer 45 producing reformed gas from introduced fuel gas and steam; a fuel gas supply line 40 between which the reformer is interposed; a steam supply line 60 between which a steam generator 41 is interposed; and heating means 6a to 6d capable of heating the reformed gas within the reformer. In the method for operating the solid oxide fuel cell, heating of the reformed gas within the reformer is controlled by the heating means so that, when the temperature X of the power generating cell is 300&deg;C or higher and the maximum temperature Y of the reformed gas within the reformer is 550&deg;C or lower, the difference obtained by subtracting the maximum temperature Y of the reformed gas from the temperature X of the power generating cell becomes within 100&deg;C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
